These are a huge improvement over the hand me down tongs I was using before. Just an FYI, they swing as right hand tongs, perfect for left hand dominant smiths.

I needed a good grip tong for small stock that would also work as pick up tongs and to grab the occasional whatever stock. These are the tongs to use.

These are my go to tongs when quenching my blades. Sure secure. The handles are a little thin for my liking but the jaws hold tight. What more could you ask for!

Incredible tongs. Granted they are sized for smaller bar, but with a quick taper down to something I could grab, I can use these on practically any size bar. The handle has a good spring to it so I know I won't loose whatever material I am holding.They are my go to flat bit tongs and I hope to see more types of tongs in the future. holding. These are great! Sooo much better than the first cheap pair I bought. They’re a great size for knife making. It definitely makes it easy to move your project around on the anvil without dropping anything.

I really like the tong jaws and overall length. I don’t really like the reins, which are too slender and have more of an edge than I prefer. If the didn’t taper to such a small diameter and had a more oval shape, they would be great. As they are, I don’t reach for them as often as I’d imagined.

Theyre the first tongs ive ever baught before, and they work fantastically! Im a beginner blacksmith, and the flatbit tongs have unlocked so many new possibilities for me and what i make.
