I love it, only two concerns; first is the Chicago screw needs some non permanent thread locker. Twice I've almost lost the screw and the knife itself. Second, the o ring needs to be just a little bigger to seat around the grommet. Otherwise it's a great EDC!

Lovely small multi purpose knife for my forging son. Sadly, the case was a let down as mentioned in other posts. The rivets just weren’t tight enough and for the price, it’s a real shame as the recipient of this gift has been a fan of yours for years. I’m in the U.K. so can’t return so will attempt to improve it before I give it to him.

The knife itself is very nicely shaped and lies very well in smaller hands. It was really sharp out of the box, even the tip, which was a pleasant surprise to me. I would've liked if the insets for the screws of the handle would've had fewer sharp edges. Reading some of the other reviews and seeing that it and the sheath have trouble with rusting, I must say I'm a bit hesitant to take it out on a proper outdoor trip.
The sheath is something I expected to be way better for the $200 price tag. The sheath itself is made out of plastic on the cheaper end, bows pretty easily and doesn't feel like it belongs to a product with this price. The clunky belt clip is made out of plastic too, which doesn't feel solid to me at all. A slimmer and stronger metal clip would've been great instead. Even though it hasn't been used much yet, the little rings holding the sheath together are losing their paint and showing their more bronze colour. Unfortunately, I have to tighten up the screw holding the clip at least once every two days and always fear losing the knife with the sheath because the screw unscrewed itself due to the movement of the sheath. The little rubber ring holding the knife in the sheath is something I expect to fail first. It is replaceable, but I would've wished for another solution.
The packaging is another thing I expected to be better. It came in a plain white box that was made out of thin cardboard. The white wrap was scratched on the top and bend around the corners. The knife itself was wrapped in simple paper with a sticker on top.
The shipment isn't something that influences the product rating itself, but I still want to talk about it. It was sent pretty quickly and arrived in less than a week despite it being shipped overseas. The only downside was that I had to pay an additional $90 on import taxes which I thought were already covered by the shipping cost of nearly $40.
All in all, I paid around $320 for the product and having it shipped to me. I find this hugely overpriced for what I received in the mail.

Owned this knife for 1 week.
The Splinter has a great shape making it very ergonomic and comfortable to carry every day. However, there are quite a few improvements that need to be done.
- The steel is very susceptible to rust and requires being oiled frequently. If you have an active lifestyle as I do, the knife will develop surface rust very frequently. Needs a more resilient coating for EDC.
- the sheath design is adequate but leaves much to be desired, twice I have had to knife fall from my waistband when working on the ground. Also, the hardware on the sheath started rusting after just one week of wear. So once again, keep everything oiled.
Not worth the price tag in my opinion.

The only issue I have had with this item is the screw that holds the clip in. It comes loose very easily requiring tightening overy so often. Otherwise it's a great product!

The knife is brilliant and what I was looking to buy, however, when it arrived at my door (UK) there was an extra £48 to pay for import tax. This really took the enjoyment out of the knife arriving, especially after stretching my budget to buy the knife at its displayed cost. I have never experienced this with any other online purchase.

The Splinter is really sharp, and the sheath holds it snugly, but can still get it out when needed. Only issue I've had, which is a minor one, is that the screw that holds the sheath to the clip sometimes gets undone

The blade and handle is Amazing! It has a great feel even with my large hands....but the sheath needs work. It was separating at the seams and was a little rough on some edges.
All in all a great little blade! If you can afford it definitely pick one up.

This thing is awesome....but. ok lets start with the positive this thing feels great in the hand. Finish on the blade is absolutely perfect. Probably the sharpest knife out of the package that ive gotten to date. No complaints about the knife. That love doesnt fully go into the sheath. A little more care needs to go into applying the grommets, or maybe juat need better grommets. The finish on the grommets were visibly jacked up upon delivery. Same can be said aboit the sex boly that hold the belt fastener on. A little more TLC on these parts and this would be absoluetly perfect
