Born out of the Forge for the Modern Craftsman; The Steele's 01.
The Steele's 01 are crafted out of a desire for durability, comfort, and practicality. We know how important the right workwear choices are and we set out to build a pair of pants to help you get the job done.
These stout 12oz cotton pants stand up to your craft's demands while still looking great for a meeting with a client. They don't just look good though, every element and feature has been meticulously considered.
Just as we improve upon projects and processes in the workshop, we wanted to refine the clothes we wear each day. We studied the pants we'd destroyed over the years and the pants we loved; we prototyped and tested from what we learned to get to the bottom of what really makes a good pair.
We only use double-stitched seams - triple stitched seams are bulky, make the pants less comfortable and create stress risers on the fabric directly next to it. A full-length gusset from the crotch to the ankle gives you plenty of room and eliminates seam-on-seam rub making holes at the lower leg.
The Steele's 01 also feature cargo pockets with organizers and tuck-able flaps, reinforced belt loops, and 14" deep ripstop cotton pockets.
These pants are built to stand the test of time and be comfortable through a long week's work. As you practice your blacksmithing, carpentry, fabrication, and everything in between, these pants are made for you. We're sure these will be your new favorite pair.

Ships in 7-14 Days.
The G1's are meant to be worn higher up around the natural waist- if you plan to wear them lower, or desire a more relaxed fit, we recommend choosing a size up from your normal waist size.
We have limited sizing and color options (Bison & Black/Espresso). In the future we will have both more colors, and more sizes. Check out the sizing information down below to answer a survey about your preferred color and size choices!
Deeper Pockets with Rip Stop Lining
These pants will hold every tool you'll need them to in their 14" deep pockets. The rip stop lining increases the durability so they can stand up to your daily, and long term, needs.
12 oz Cotton
Striking a balance between form and function can be difficult. The 12 oz cotton duck fabric means that you get both the durability of a thick fabric, without being restricted by bulky material.
Double Stiched Seams
From the reinforced belt loops, to the very fabric woven into the pants, durability is a primary focus. The double stitched seams mean that the fabric is flexible, while retaining it's function of durability throughout the pants.
Care and Use Instructions
For the longest life out of your pants, wash on "cold" in the washing machine and hang dry to keep the fabric lasting as long as possible. We don't recommend washing after every day's use as wash cycles reduce the length of the life of your clothing. These pants are not fire-retardant.
Sizing and Fit Information
Our sizing is based on a typical high-waisted work-wear fit. If you wear a 32x32 work pant from a major manufacturer, you'll have a comfortably snug fit in our 32x32. When people do have sizing issues they often need to go a size up. We want the pants to have a comfortable fit that is not too tight or restrictive on you during your workday, so if you want a more loose or "relaxed" style of fit, go up a waist size. These pants are unwashed and may shrink 1/2" to 1" in the inseam (length) after washing.
To find your size, take a cloth tape and wrap it around your waist without tightening too much. This is your waist measurement. If you are in-between sizes, we would recommend sizing up in the abdomen to enjoy the comfort of a looser fit. The pants may reduce in the inseam (length) around 1/2" - 1" over a few washes and may shrink approximately 1/2" in the waist.
